What's in an Urgent Care Center?
 Our urgent care facility is open six days a week with convenient daytime and evening hours for patients seeking immediate treatment for minor illnesses and injuries as well as a wide variety of diagnostic and screening services including lab and x-rays. Patients can be seen and treated, often in less than an hour, for injuries like minor lacerations, sprains, simple fractures, animal bites, sports injuries and other discomforts like sore throats, earaches, asthma attacks, migraines, urinary tract infections or the flu. You do not need an appointment to be seen at Troyer Urgent Care.
Do I need to make an appt to visit Troyer Urgent Care? No appointment is necessary to be seen at our office. If you want to set up an appointment, go to our Web Check-In and we will call you to find a time that best fits your schedule for that day.
How long will my visit take?
We want to provide prompt, quality health care, which translates into trying to get patients seen in less than one hour.
What do I need to bring with me for my visit?
Please bring a photo ID and your insurance card with you when you visit our center.
Who will provide my medical care?
Our staff of providers includes Medical Doctors, Physicians Assistants, and Nurse Practitioners all licensed and qualified to practice in Arizona. We are dedicated to provide you with excellent medical care in a compassionate, respectful manner within a warm, comforting environment.
How much does an office visit cost?
The fee for an initial visit will range from $75.00 to $150.00, less than 1/4th the cost of an Emergency Room visit. However, there may be additional charges for medications, medical supplies, lab work, X-rays, EKGs, surgical procedures and various other services. All co-payments and other payments are required at the time medical services are provided.
What forms of insurance and payment do you accept?
Payment of fees for services is due on the date that service is provided. We accept most health insurance plans, cash, personal checks, travelers checks and all major credit cards. We make every effort to be a participating provider with as many insurance carriers as possible. Even when we are not contracted with your insurance carrier, we will still see you and provide you with the necessary paperwork to return to your insurance carrier for reimbursement. Please check our "Accepted Insurance" for a list of current accepted insurances.
What happens when I leave the Urgent Care Center?
 You will be given complete discharge instructions and notified about any abnormal lab work or X-rays. With your permission, a record of your treatment will also be faxed to your primary care physician, who can provide any necessary follow-up care. Most prescriptions you will need can be obtained at our office, or we can call the pharmacy of your choice. |
